The power of Brain Wave Vibration

I woke up with a diarrhea and hot and chill within me 2 nights ago. I had not much to eat yesterday for lost of appetite. I went to an intensive Brain Wave Vibration Training–Dahn Ho last evening. During the training, the hot and cold energy were fighting within my body that created a huge headache. When I got home, my body temperature was 101 degree. I took 2 Tylenol, 2 glasses of water and a wet towel on my forehead, then, I went to sleep. When I woke up this morning, I went to work and filled with energy. I had stomach flu! Before I practice Dahn Brain Wave Vibration, it would last me 4-6 days to recover plus a doctor visit and antibiotic. After I practice Brain Wave Vibration, it last only 24 hours. Brain Wave Vibration will help you to discover your hidden healing power within your brain stem. Please practice with sincere mind and daily. Good health to me and you. (Aug 27, 2008)

FINDING THE WAY HOME TO MYSELF

Author: Alexis

Before Dahn Yoga I was a very sick person, barely able to function in society at times. My low moments included repetitive and debilitating negative thoughts, and also feelings of depression and hopelessness. These low moments were interspersed with raging levels of high energy, or mania. I was diagnosed with Manic Depression at 20 years of age. It took me 4 long years of struggle to find the solution which would help me cure my illness: Dahn Yoga (such simple, yet comforting words to my heart).

During those four years I tried anything - and everything - to stabilize my mind and body. I took 8 medications daily, including anti-depressants, anti-anxiety medication, anti-psychotics, and mood stabilizers. However, my high level of worry and anxiety caused me to develop unhealthy coping mechanisms, like over-eating unhealthy foods, and often times having incredibly itchy skin. Medication did not cure these annoyances. I felt so helpless and hopeless because nothing helped me to feel stable, happy, or peaceful to the depth that I desired.

I read many books and used workbooks to document my negative thinking habits and eating patterns. But no amount of writing and thinking helped to change my mind. I went to a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Group after being hospitalized and learned about techniques to manage stress and emotion - but they were just techniques. I attended Dialectical Behavioral Therapy group in college to solve my over eating habits, but because I was surrounded by many sick people, I only began to identify more as a “sick person.” For one year I attended a support group for people who had mental illness, but we did not have much mind for how to heal ourselves or take proper steps towards real stability and health. Instead we vented, shared, cried, and searched without a clear way to make peace and harmony within our mind and body.

What else did I try? Throughout my 4 years of clinical diagnosis I had three therapists. I enjoyed to talk (i.e. rant and rave) to them, listen, learn and practice trying to create a healthy mind. But I did not find peace inside my heart or mind. I drank herbal drinks, took fish oil pills, practiced sleeping a lot, journaling, running and even hypnosis at one point when I was studying overseas. Over this trying four year period, I was hospitalized 4 different times because of the mania.

Personally, I could not heal myself with these types of remedies. But they gave me ammunition to try ANYTHING. Then I found Dahn Yoga at my undergraduate University. I resisted and said no at first to most things, but in my heart it always felt right to me when my instructor guided me to take a program, so I just trusted and participated in many courses. Because of my determination to heal myself, I soon committed to very regular practice. Then, after two months I attended the Shim Sung (true self) workshop. From that moment forward, I knew that I had something inside of me that was stronger and more powerful than my illness. Before, I always used the line, “I am Bipolar” to identify myself. But through this experience, I could drop that old baggage. Instead, I discovered profound new ways to identify myself: “I am…courage, strength, peace, joy and love.” Suddenly, I knew then that I could heal myself.

According to modern medicine, it is very unusual to overcome mental illness by oneself. However I realized that, in fact, this is the only way. I feel lucky to share with you that through my many wonderful experiences participating in Dahn programs (such as Initial Awakening, Shim Sung, Private Healing sessions, and Dahn Mu Do), I have been able to come off of all medications and completely manage my own health and happiness! What a miracle!!

Now I have healed myself more than I ever imagined, and gained the tools to manage the mania, depression, and anxiety. After attending Initial Awakening, I could manage my stress and emotions. From Shim Sung & Healer School I knew my worth and preciousness as a human being and found my life purpose. Through Dahn Mu Do, I found my beauty, strength and inner power. I harnessed my abundant energy and brought it inside of my body. I feel that what used to be my illness and weakness instead became my healing energy and my source of power.

Now, as a Dahn Yoga Instructor I teach as many people as possible all of the tools, wisdom, and insight I have gained. I wish for all who suffer as I did to know that with your Dahn Jon (“energy center”) and life purpose in mind, you can use everything from your life – even what seemed to a crippling mental illness – to help you become a great healer to yourself and to the rest of the world.

Chun Ji Ki Un, Where ARE you?!…the witch who broke her broom…

Published by Chun Nyeo under Dahn Healing System

“Chun JI Ki Un (CJKU), come a lot!…here and now…..no, still not enough…I need more…”…as I sat in the Healing Room, trying my best to “create” a huge energy field that would have a calming effect, I kept wishing or “commanding”…CJKU to please show up….I feel grateful that Master Edward let me sit in, this healing session for my colleague’s dad…so the only way I feel I could contribute is at least to create a “sacred place” in the healing room….

but today, something’s wrong…wrong with who?…at first I thought, Chun Ji Ki Un…’cos it did not come a lot…even as I kept counting on it…at least I thought by commanding, CJKU would understand I am relying on it…so I kept “commanding” in my mind…

after a while, and several moments of disappointment, I felt like Ki Ki…the little witch who could not fly…that time when she lost her true self…what’s a witch with a broom but who can’t fly?! I looked at the tools in my hands…I felt my 6th chakra alright…but still…not much CJKU…what’s going on?

moments of disappointment later…I opened my eyes…this is it…I got bored as CJKU was not responding…as I looked at my colleague’s dad…he was still in pain as Master Edward helped him to release blockages…and I watched Master Edward…his hands were sure and his manner reminds me of a doctor at work…

then at one moment, my colleague’s dad shouted, “You are BEST…YOU ARE BEST!”…as if knocking at my heart, the shouts….CJKU started entering!! Voila! I felt so touched….for his voice came from deep in his heart….deep within…

that moment, I felt a resonance in my own…deep within…yes, this is it…GRATITUDE…and FAITH too…for he had insisted to only have Master Edward treat his condition…and this time, we had to travel further, now that he has moved to another center….”the master is very good…” he would smile as we make our way back in the car…

…GRATITUDE…I bowed my head in shame…”I am sorry Chun Ji Ki Un….those moments you came to me…I took you for granted…I know I do…I am sorry….thank you also for always being there….”

and CJKU came a lot…yes, came a lot…as it reached my dahnjon, the corners of my mouth turned up automatically to break into a smile…thank you, CJKU…

I remembered what Master Bup Sung taught in Healer School…”not like that….feel gratitude in your heart…” he is right…GRATITUDE…yes, when I am lost…lost again…that is when I need to look deep inside and find GRATITUDE again…

Thank you Master Bup Sung…Thank you, HEALER SCHOOL…for helping me see that I am bigger than who I thought I am…Thank you Master Jeon, for insisting I attend the School…Thank you, Master Edward, for showing me, a GREAT healer at work more than once…Thank you, Chun Ji Ki Un…Thank you, Dahn Yoga.

Jung Choong, Ki-jang, Shin Myung

from http://dahnyoga.net/

Jung Choong breathing is an effective way to activate the benefits of ‘Jung Choong, Ki Jang, Shin Myung’, one of the main principles of all Dahn exercise. I found these descriptions on the computer of the Dahn Center where I work and thought they were very useful:

JUNG CHOONG: Calm your body by circulating & accumulating power in your lower body.

Benefits: healthy kidney & bladder meridian, relaxed chest, relaxed and warm organs, cool head.

KI-JANG: With calmness, circulate emotional energy healthfully and focus on your true self.

Benefits: Immune system improves, peace of mind, passion and productivity for the purpose of life

SHIN MYUNG: From your true self, choose your thinking that suits your purpose, change negative thinking habits.

Benefits: Increased independence of your health, become more effective and creative, deep satisfaction with life.

You can see the principle of Jung Choong, Ki Jang, Shin Myung encompasses body, emotions, and mind. By influencing one aspect you affect the others. So when you feel down or unsatisfied, check weather you have Jung Choong. Do you feel full and have so much energy that it naturally spills out of you? If not, you may need more Jung energy. Exercises like Jung Choong Breahing and HSP walking meditation

Earth Humans

from Ilchee Lee: A Fan Blog

peaceology1.JPG From ‘Peaceology’ book by Ilchi LeeAn Earth-Human is someone who realizes that Earth, and peace on Earth, are the central standards, by which we should measure all decisions. How can you know if you are making the right decision for the Earth? Just follow your conscience, for it is part of the soul of the Earth and the Cosmos. If our conscience stands for that divine scale within us, by which to judge the relative weight of options that face us, then the point on the scale that corresponds to zero is Earth. By calibrating our inner scales to the Earth, we are making Earth the standard by which to judge our options. In other words, Earth is the absolute value against which we may judge all other relative values.

Many people claim to love the Earth. However, what exactly does that mean? Just as loving home does not refer only to caring for the house, loving the Earth cannot be limited to environmental protection. Loving the Earth must include acknowledging her people as one unified community. We must then protect our home and our entire family. This is what loving the Earth can mean.

An Earth-Human has a connection to body, mind, and energy of the Earth. An Earth-Human knows he or she is one with the earth, and one with the whole of humanity. He or she therefore cares for and heals neighbors and family members with the unconditional love of the soul. An Earth-Human is a healer in every sense of the word. When our consciousness makes the leap and becomes Earth consciousness, we gain and group-egotism, and feel love for all of life on Earth.

Some people argue that we should not limit awareness to the Earth in this age of space travel and space stations. What they do not realize is that being truly aware of the Earth will allow us to gain awareness of the cosmos as well, for they are intimately interrelated. They are in fact, one. You will experience cosmic arareness when you become truly conscious of the Earth. To do so, you must be free of preconceptions and self-defeating ideas of limitation. Earth provides us with a matrix for the path to conscious evolution and cosmic awareness….

Healer School Sharing

Published by bigbang under Dahn Healing System

I was graduated from Dahn Healer School last year. It was really exciting to work with different partners to share massage, accupressure, and energy healing techniques. Mostly what I got from Dahn Healer School, aside from learning new things was feeling confident in myself — recognizing that just me being who I am and caring for others is being a healer. We are all healers — we just need to know it and have the confidence to share it with others! After completing my follow-up training in my region, I practice on my husband and even my cats — who enjoy the power brains on their backs!
