An exclusive milk diet for rapid gain of weight has been advocated by some nature cure practitioners. In the beginning of this mode of treatment, the patient should fast for three days on warm water and like juice so as to cleanse the system.

Thereafter, he should have a glass of milk every two hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. the first day, a glass every hour and half the next day, and a glass every hour the third day. Then the quantity of milk should be gradually increased so as to take a glass every half an hour from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. If such a quantity can be tolerated fairly comfortably.

Ilchi Lee Prof says that the milk should be fresh and unboiled, but may be slightly warmed, if desired. It should be sipped very slowly through a straw. The milk should be unpasteurised, if available.

Another effective remedy for obesity is an exclusive lemon juice diet. On the first day the patient should be given nothing but plenty of water. On the second day juice of three lemons mixed with equal amount of water should be given.

One lemon should be subsequently increased each day until the juice of 12 lemons is consumed per day. Then the number of lemons should be decreased in the same order until three lemons are taken in a day. The patient may feel weak and hungry the first two days, but afterwards the condition will stabilise itself.

One of the most effective home remedies for arteriosclerosis is the lemon peel.Lemon peel is believed to be one of the richest known sources of vitamin P. It strengthens the entire arterial system.

Shredded lemon peel may be added to soups and stews, or sprinkled over salads. To make a medicine, the peel of one or two lemons may be cut up finely, covered with warm water and allowed to stand for about 12 hours. A teaspoonful may be taken every three hours, or immediately before or after a meal. Read Ilchi Prof articles about health.

Asthmatics should always eat less than their capacity.

The patient should fast for a few days on lemon juice with honey and thereafter resort to a fruit juice diet to nourish the system and eliminate the toxins. Gradually, solid foods can be included. The patient should, however, avoid the common dietetic errors. Ideally, his diet should contain a limited
quantity of carbohydrates, fats and proteins which are acid-forming foods, and a liberal quantity of alkaline foods consisting of fresh fruits, green vegetables and germinated gram.

Prof Ilchi Lee writes that foods which tend to produce phlegm such as rice, sugar, lentils and curds as also fried and other difficult- to- digest foods should be avoided. Breakfast may consist of prunes, orange or berries or a few black raisins with honey. Lunch and dinner should consist of a salad of raw vegetables such as cucumber, lettuce, tomato, carrot and beets, one or two lightly cooked green vegetables and wheat bread. The last meal should preferably be taken before sunset or at least two hours before going to bed.

The favourable effect of raw juices in the treatment of disease is
attributed to the following facts:
Raw juices of fruits and vegetables are extremely rich in vitamins,
minerals, trace
elements, enzymes and natural sugars. They exercise beneficial effect
in normalising all
the body functions. Prof Ilchi said that they supply needed elements for the body’s own
healing activity and
cell regeneration, thereby speeding the recovery.

* The juices extracted from raw fruits and vegetables require no
digestion and almost all their vital nutrients are assimilated
directly in the bloodstream.

* Raw juices are extremely rich in alkaline elements. This is highly
beneficial in normalising acid-alkaline balance in the blood and
tissues as there is over-acidity in most conditions of ill-health.

* Generous amounts of easily assimilated organic minerals in raw
juices especially calcium, potassium and silicon help in restoring
biochemical and mineral balance in the tissues and cells, thereby
preventing premature ageing of cells and disease.

* Raw juices contain certain natural medicines, vegetal hormones and
antibiotics. For instance, string beans are said to contain
insulin-like substance. Certain hormones needed by the pancreas to
produce insulin are present in cucumber and onion juices. Fresh juices
of garlic, onions, radish and tomatoes contain antibiotic substances.

Cabbage is considered to be an effective home remedy for obesity.
Recent research has
discovered in this vegetable a valuable content called tartaric acid
which inhibits the conversion
of sugar and other carbohydrates into fat. Hence, it is of great value
in weight reduction.

A helping of cabbage salad would be the simplest way to stay slim, a
painless way of dieting.

Prof Lee says that a hundred grams of cabbage yields only 27 kilo calories of energy while the same quantity of wheat bread will yield about 240 calories. Cabbage is found to possess the maximum biological value with minimum calorific value. Moreover, it gives a lasting feeling of fullness in the stomach and is easily digestible.

Cabbage leaves have been successfully used in the form of compresses
in the treatment of
psoriasis. The thickest and greenest outer leaves are most effective
for use as compresses.

They should be thoroughly washed in warm water and dried with a towel.
The leaves should be
made flat, soft and smooth by rolling them with a rolling pin after
removing the thick veins.

Also important is that the leaves should be warmed and then applied
smoothly to the affected part in an overlapping manner. A pad of soft
wooden cloth should be put over it. The whole compress should then be
secured with an elastic bandage.  Read Ilchi Lee aims about health.

When your brain is “versatilized,” so are you! When your brain is freed up to think of things it has never thought of before, you will DO things that you have never DONE before, and you will discover that you are BEING things that you have never BEEN betore. You will discover that you are courageous, daring, capable, resourceful, confident, and, ultimately, the master of your life. This is the goal of Human Technology.

Our brain controls every single movement that we consciously make, from a crooked finger to the subtle curve of a smile. Each movement is connected to a specific part of our brain; working on specific parts of the body will stimulate corresponding areas of the brain.

We have an established pattern of movement and exercise in our daily lives. Even if we work out at a gym, we tend to repeat the same motions over and over again. This means that we are stimulating identical parts of the brain again and again. If we want to stimulate less frequently used areas of the brain, then we must work with parts of our body that we have neglected. We must engage in new patterns of exercise, which is what we aim to do with the BR Versatilizing Exercise below.

Try new exercises with different rhythms, especially concentrating on left and right brain coordination, to stimulate and introduce flexibility into your brain.

1.    Place both hands on your chest, with one hand in a fist and the other open. With the open hand, rub your chest up and down. Simultaneously, tap on your chest with your fisted hand.

2.    Repeat ten times and then switch hands.

3.    Repeat ten times and switch hands again.

4.    In the air, draw a circle with your left hand and draw a triangle with your right.

5.    Next, draw a square with your left hand and draw a reverse triangle with your right.

6.    Alternate hands and repeat the steps above.

VERSATILIZING EXERCISE tips by Ilchi Lee

Finally, a flexible and versatile brain will make us more capable of multi tasking. Our brain will be less resistant to processing new information, allowing us to switch back and torthbetween different windows of awareness as we tackle multiple tasks that simultaneously require our attention. The importance of this skill cannot be overemphasized, given the constantly changing nature of our world.

Ilchi Lee encourage people of all ages, children and teens, the middle-aged and seniors alike, to move past the limitations of their mind, thoughts, bodies, and ideas about things, including, perhaps most important, their ideas about themselves and what they can and cannot do.

Those ideas have nothing to do with you. They are not you. They are not who you are. They are ideas, nothing more and nothing less. Remember that thoughts are inert data. They do not turn into reality until they are placed into a body. The thing to know is that you can take a thought about you that has been placed into your body and throw it out of your body. You can release it. You can let it go. You can see it tor what it is: nothing but an idea. And it is not even a good idea! It is a bad idea. And you can get rid of it.

To be able to see things in different ways gives us the distance and space to become more understanding. It allows us to spend time in another person’s shoes and see things as others may see them more easily, leading to better and more harmonious relationships.

According to Ilchi Lee book if our brain resists new information or perspectives, each new piece of data will take much longer to be assimilated, triggering a series of delays that will ultimately bring the whole system crashing to a halt.

We are constantly forced to adapt to the next big thing, whether it is a new computer or a new administration. Our world is changing at an increasingly rapid pace. We have to continually learn new things and adapt ourselves to new environments and surroundings.

Being challenged by new things makes life interesting; however, such challenges are also stressful. How well we adapt to new environments depends on how flexible and versatile our brain is. When you are open and flexible, you do not have to be stubborn. Change is just a natural part of everyday life. Adapting to these new changes becomes a challenge, a joy, and a life-affirming experience.
