An array of Dahn Yoga books, compact discs and DVDs will be available at a Borders bookstore in Springfield, Virginia, on February 19. The store, located a dozen miles outside the Washington, DC, area, will also host free classes on achieving good health through contemplation.
Instructor Jane Gordon, who is also a local eighth grade teacher, plans to lead a class for children just after midday. She will teach them Dahn Yoga breathing techniques, stretching, posture and basic circulation exercises.
Gordon is a member of the Burke Dahn Yoga center, which will be organizing the event. She that that she is "so happy to be sharing fun and relaxing exercises with customers and employees at Borders this weekend."
The classes offered will focus on the primary concept found in Dahn Yoga books, which is the reconnection of the overworked body and the overtaxed mind. The purpose of engaging in its relaxation techniques is, according to many of its members, to allow the mind to regroup and focus on good health.
Once breathing and meditation have relaxed the body into a still state of peace, Dahn Yoga assists the mind in exploring its surroundings, ultimately revealing the reciprocity between it and all things.

It was great class for kids and adults.
Jane was really helping kids to move their body and to focus.
I enjoyed very much there.
Thank you
