The End of Resistance

To be able to see things in different ways gives us the distance and space to become more understanding. It allows us to spend time in another person’s shoes and see things as others may see them more easily, leading to better and more harmonious relationships.

According to Ilchi Lee book if our brain resists new information or perspectives, each new piece of data will take much longer to be assimilated, triggering a series of delays that will ultimately bring the whole system crashing to a halt.

We are constantly forced to adapt to the next big thing, whether it is a new computer or a new administration. Our world is changing at an increasingly rapid pace. We have to continually learn new things and adapt ourselves to new environments and surroundings.

Being challenged by new things makes life interesting; however, such challenges are also stressful. How well we adapt to new environments depends on how flexible and versatile our brain is. When you are open and flexible, you do not have to be stubborn. Change is just a natural part of everyday life. Adapting to these new changes becomes a challenge, a joy, and a life-affirming experience.
