Recent terrorist attacks have taught us how fragile the foundation of what we call peace really is. fin thermore, we found out that we cannot guarantee peace with military might or wealth. Threats to peace lurk in every corner. Peace will not result from increased military spending or more missiles. Conversely, the false sense of superiority and confidence generated by increased military strength might push us further from peace.
On the other hand, we will not have peace just because we pray or meditate for hours on end. Peace will not happen just because good people invest their precious time in good works. Peace is not so easy that it will materialize because we devote time and money, despite all the good intentions of the world.
Peace will not occur by individual good will and deeds but by organized, realistic, and concrete power. Peace is the largest project and the grandest business in the history of humankind. It can only become successful with every ounce of time, energy, and ability of all people who consider peace the highest value in their lives. This will form the backbone of the power of peace.
The equation of peace below is an attempt to represent this power of peace in a mathematical format. It is as follows:P = EN2, where
P = the Power of Peace
E = Enlightenment (or level of collective human
awareness) N=the number ol enlightened and peaceful
people, also known as New I lumans
