Eye Exercises
Many people spend long hours facing a computer screen at their jobs. This can strain the eyes and drain your energy. You can help soothe your eyes by taking a short break and conducting a few simple eye exercises. Turn away from your screen and imagine you can see a square. Without moving your head, allow your eyes to create the four points of the square. Repeat 4 times in each direction. Then imagine a triangle. Let your eyes look at each of the three points in the triangle. Repeat 3 times in each direction. Rub your hands together quickly to warm them and place them over your eyes. With your warm hands covering your eyes, breathe in deeply and out slowly. Repeat.
This is a great way to take a break from your “computerized” day. When you are done, not only do your eyes feel brighter and more relaxed, but your brain is clearer and more focused as well. Much better than a coffee break !! (and lots cheaper than a Latte!)
